Taste of Texas by Cherelle McKinnies (4th grade teacher and Team Leader)

The 4th grade students really enjoyed the Taste of Texas Field Trip last week. They added so many interesting facts about Texas what they have been learning in class this year. They were all really engaged in the lesson and so excited about being at a top-notch restaurant. It was extra special to enjoy a yummy Taste of Texas lunch. Along with the Taste of Texas history lesson, they had an opportunity to visit Bear Creek Park and see the Veteran’s Memorial and a variety of animals. The students loved having an opportunity to enjoy the BEAUTIFUL weather  with their friends and learn at the same time.  It was a PACKTASTIC Field Trip!
