On Day of Service, January 16th, our students participated in Jump Rope for Heart during their Specials time. Jump Rope for Heart was fun and
energetic. Students participated in 10 different stations that allowed
them to practice what they learned in order to be heart healthy all their
lives. TWE students and staff raised $14, 078 for the American Heart
Association. We have ordered the remaining ducks and prizes and expect
them to arrive in the next 3 weeks. Thanks to all the students who worked
hard, to all the volunteers who helped it run so smoothly, and to all the staff
who organized their classes. This Jump Rope for Heart event takes a
great deal of teamwork to make it so successful!
