Field Trip
Bayou Bend Park
Bayou
Bend Park was an amazing place for our field trip. It is filled with
educational objects and fun things to see all from the 1600s-1900s.
The
first thing we did was go through Ms. Ima Hogg’s house where we looked at most
of her beautiful rooms. While in the house, we saw many cool and amazing
furniture items and many paintings.
After
we went through the house, we saw a wonderful skit about the Colonial Times. We
also got to see how people dressed in the Colonial period.
In the end, we had a wonderful time going through the house and seeing everything in it and learning about the things in the house.
We
would like to thank all of the volunteers for helping us learn many new things!
