The Front Office Ladies by Rhonda Henderson

Today we want to introduce you to our "Front Office Ladies". Tom Wilson Elementary could not function without the hard work these ladies put forth each day to support our staff, students and parents.

From the left:

Mrs. Danielle Vasquez is our campus ADA (Attendance Clerk). Mrs. Vasquez is knowledgeable about state and district attendance procedures and laws. She is in charge of student enrollment and attendance records. All questions and concerns in those areas may be directed to her. Our website has a link to provide useful information for new and returning students: http://www.katyisd.org/campus/TWE/Pages/Registrar.aspx
Mrs. Vasquez is bilingual and speaks Spanish.

Mrs. Marcy Woodward is the Principal's Secretary. Mrs. Woodward is known on our campus for her kind heart and willingness to serve others. Her primary job is to assist the principal, but she also assists all staff members in the building. If you need to schedule an appointment with the principal or assistant principals, Mrs. Woodward is available to help you.

Mrs. Leigh Rundell is the TWE Financial Clerk. Mrs. Rundell is also a TWE community member. She manages our budget and handles money collection, orders, requisitions, etc. for our campus. We keep her very busy!

Mrs. Sonia Brousseau joins our TWE staff as Receptionist this year. She will often be your first point of contact with our school. If she doesn't know the answer to your question, she has proven to be very skilled at finding an answer. Mrs. Brousseau is bilingual and speaks French.

Mrs. Laura Barrientos is our campus Textbook Clerk and also handles our fixed asset inventory. Mrs. Barrientos is new to our front office staff this year. She has already provided a friendly face as we started our year. Mrs. Barrientos is bilingual and speaks Spanish.

It is our desire to provide you with exemplary customer service each day. Office hours are 7:30am-4:30 pm Monday-Friday. These ladies have been chosen for their skills in a particular job assignment, and they wear many additional hats during the day. In order to make their jobs easier, we request that each parent refer to the Student Handbook at this link for an explanation of our campus routines and procedures. http://www.katyisd.org/campus/TWE/Documents/TWE%20Student%20Handbook%202014-15.pdf

Join us tomorrow to find out more about our school vision for the year.
