In the past few
weeks, our teachers have ventured from their own grade level hallways to visit
and learn from their peers. We call this
opportunity a learning walk. Each group
of teachers observed another TWE teacher for approximately 8-10 minutes. Observing peers teaching and students
learning is a powerful experience that leads to great discussions. We have wonderful teachers with great
teaching practices to share. It gave
teachers the opportunity to collaborate with one another to improve their daily
practices. This experience energized our
teachers and proved what supportive and collaborative teachers we have here at
TWE.
