Empathy by Ms. Brown (Assistant Principal)




Children will face situations at school and at home where empathy is needed. Empathy comes into play when they are interacting with a peers or connecting with historical events in the classroom. Many times a lack of empathy plays a role in the act of bullying or a lack of acceptance. Teaching students to empathize and be accepting of others is a valuable process as a parent.
