Texas Destination Imagination is a creative problem solving educational organization that strives to promote creativity in young people. Texas Destination Imagination is reaching more than 16,200 students a year. “DI” is an extraordinary non-profit organization that provides educational programs for students to learn and experience creativity, teamwork and more than 100,000 students across the U.S... and in more than 30 countries participates each year in DI. DI’s core program is an educational program in which student teams solve open-ended Challenges and present their solutions at Tournaments. Last year TWE was well represented at the Texas Gulf Coast competition held in Cypress Fairbanks ISD with 11 teams.  This year we are excited to announce that we have established 11 teams for the competition.  Even better, Katy ISD will be hosting the Texas Gulf Coast Region DI competition at Seven Lakes High School Saturday, February 27, 2016.  Our teams will begin their work in the coming weeks!  You can support this great activity by coming out to watch our students perform!  Mark your calendars now.  This is an event you won’t want to miss.

We would like to thank Ms. Taryn Fox for being our teacher leader for Destination Imagination the last 3 years.  This is no small feat for her and it would not be possible without our great parent volunteers who are the coaches for each team.  Thanks to all who work as a team to help facilitate this wonderful learning experience for our Wolfpack students.
