Math Gallery Walks by Rileigh C.

Math Gallery Walk

How do you do a Math Gallery Walk? Well, a few days ago we learned about adding and subtracting whole numbers and how to do it by doing fun stations with a group of classmates! My teacher made problems on chart paper that we had to solve around the room in 5 stations. One example of our math gallery problems was like Ex.) 4,254 + (blank)= 7,430. The way you find the other number is to subtract the number you already have from the answer. This activity is really fun and you can do it with subtraction, addition, and multiplication! Math is important because when you get older you need to know how to solve math problems and work with other people. It is a good practice so keep doing math and you will be an expert!
