Astros!
On April 15, 2016 our 5th
grade choir will be performing at Minute Maid Stadium. We will be performing
the Star Spangled Banner at the beginning of the game on the baseball field.
After we perform we will leave the field and go to the TWE section to watch the
game with our families.
Songs
We have been doing songs every
semester. This semester we have 6 songs, these songs are Kusimama, a song in Swahili. Another song is Sing to Me - we are still working on that song. We’ve also been
learning the Tailor of Gloucester and
Seagull, Seagull. Other songs this
semester include Murasame and Gloria.
Performance
We will be performing our next concert
in the TWE gym on April 7, 2016 to share all of the songs we have been working
on. We will perform twice - once in the morning for the school and another time
in the evening for the public. Our directors are Ms. Currier and Mrs. Beyer. We
currently have 98 choir singers.
